Hey! How was Your Weekend? is an adventurous and educational series set in present-day Atlanta, Georgia, that follows a bright but irresponsible 10-year-old boy and his fellow students after they are forced into a weekend book club. The series centers on Mr. Frances Bordeaux, an eccentric West Indian American librarian who possesses the ability to transport and transform disinterested students into animated characters within the pages of a book. Through these immersive journeys, the club explores a wide range of topics from culinary arts and immunology to engineering and sports history, while meeting real-world professionals in their elements. Light-hearted and relatable, the project explores the everyday struggles of 10-year-olds while demonstrating that there is a book for every subject imaginable.
